We need to remember that even though America clearly has a serious problem with mass shootings, overall crime rates are the lowest that they have been in decades. Watching the news, you're only going to see the bad stuff, and it will make you paranoid.

I'm not saying not to watch it or not to stay informed, but if you do watch it, to keep it in perspective.
